Introduction to Older Piece of Writing

The purpose of this piece was to conduct research on a topic that interest me then to write a argumentative essay about it . The intended audience was a board of parents who we were supposed to educate on our topic. While writing this piece I asked myself what would be the best way to educate my audience on my topic. I learned that millions of pounds of food are thrown out each year in America, that can be donated or even used for compost. My strengths in this piece was evidence, I had very good explanations to back up my evidence. I feel that I did not have many weaknesses being that I had help with it, but I am positive there are weaknesses present. I don’t have any questions, because they all were answered during the school year and I knew why I was writing the paper. The assignment affected my understanding of the term ” voice in writing” a lot, because it allowed me to voice my opinion on a sheet of paper then research evidence to support my opinion on food waste.
